Job details and duties for Accounts Receivable Specialist:
· Responsible for managing customer accounts, posting receipts, examining customer payment plans, recording transactions, and conducting bank deposits
· Generate invoices and address inquiries
· Payment processing
· Account reconciliation and collections
· Resolve account discrepancies, verify valid or authorized deductions, and manage unpaid invoices
· Develop aging reports, credit analysis, and recordkeeping
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications for Accounts Receivable Specialist:
· Accounting or Finance degree and at least 2 years of prior accounts payable experience (3-5 years of experience preferred)
· Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
· Experience with Great Plains Accounting Software (preferred)
· Understanding of basic accounting principles
· Strong mathematical and computer skills; MS Office experience required
· Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
· Ability to stand for duration of shift
· Ability to squat, stoop, bend, kneel, twist and reach
