Job details and duties for Accounts Receivable Specialist:
- Responsible for managing customer accounts, posting receipts, examining customer payment plans, recording transactions, and conducting bank deposits
- Generate invoices and address inquiries
- Payment processing
- Account reconciliation and collections
- Resolve account discrepancies, verify valid or authorized deductions, and manage unpaid invoices
- Develop aging reports, credit analysis, and recordkeeping
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications for Accounts Receivable Specialist:
- Accounting or Finance degree and at least 2 years of prior accounts payable experience (3-5 years of experience preferred)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Experience with Great Plains Accounting Software (preferred)
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Strong mathematical and computer skills; MS Office experience required
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to squat, stoop, bend, kneel, twist and reach
