Job Description
Bilingual Training Interpreter – Dickson, TN
Qualifications:
Fluent in English and Spanish
Previous experience training role is advantageous.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with precision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for connecting people with the right opportunities for Melting Associate, Molding and Finishing Associates.
Interpreter and Translation Specific Responsibilities:
- Load aluminum into dry hearth and holding furnaces
- Treat metal according to specified parameters
- Deliver metal to carousel and bench furnaces
- Clean furnaces and work areas
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Always maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Produce good-quality castings at the carousel
- Inspect castings for defects
- Load sand cores onto the conveyor or into molds
- Blow out excess sand and aluminum from molds
- Make minor adjustments to the equipment as necessary
- Report any problems to the team leader
- Follow all safety rules and procedures
- Always maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Load aluminum castings onto the loading line
- Minor casting rework and deburring of castings
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Always keep work area clean and orderly
All General Production Associate’s Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be able to read and write English
- Must be available for short-notice overtime, including weekends
- Must be able to work in a fast-past environment which requires physical labor and repetitive movements including twisting and bending, and lifting/maneuvering parts weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled facility (cold and hot conditions depending on the season)
- Must follow all Nemak’s policies and procedures including the Back-to-Basics Procedure and Code of Conduct
