Job Description
Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Quality Control Assistant positions.
Details for Quality Control Assistant position:
- $16-20 / Hour
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Job duties for Quality Control Assistant:
- Maintain all documents and test records accurately
- Ensure quality standards are met by inspecting all areas of manufacturing
- Evaluate returns and report results
- Perform inspections of raw materials, purchased parts, in-process parts, and finished products according to the client's criteria using standard physical, mechanical, and electrical measurements
- Work with filed inspectors from UL and FM
- Initiate calibration of all test equipment and fixtures
- Participate in the construction and revision of specs for cost-effectiveness
- Assist in the writing and updating of inspection checklists and procedures
- Observe and participate in production processes to identify and evaluate problems in order to make initial recommendations for possible corrective action
- Report, document, and identify cause of unusual production circumstances
- Maintain a safe, well-organized, and clean work environment
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and desired skills for Quality Control Assistant:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred
- Previous Quality Control experience is preferred
- Working knowledge of measurement instruments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task, excel in a fast-paced environment and have good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand for the duration of shift
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
