Job Description
Slitter Rewinder Machine Operator
19.50 Per Hour
2nd Shift 2 pm – 1030 pm
Monday – Friday
Knoxville, TN 37931
Daily Job Functions:
Read and Understand Job Order Tickets, layouts and replicate specific orders
Understands and executes plan schedules in an accurate and prompt manner to effectively maximize throughput.
Works closely with Team and independent environment / excellent communication skills
Excellent Time Management
Safely operates material moving equipment
Assists in maintaining equipment for optimal operations, including adjustments
Assists with preventative maintenance
Excellent Attention to Detail
Disposes of waste materials into proper storage containers. Mark and identify containers with required documentation
Complies with established facility safety policies and procedures and other regulatory requirements ( IE: GMP, HAACP, BRC) as applicable.
Responsible for maintaining daily housekeeping efforts
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
HS Diploma or GED
Ability to operate material handling equipment
Basic math and reading skills
Proficient in Computer Literacy
Excellent communication and time management skills
Ability to lift up to 35lbs unassisted
Knoxville of Inventory Control, shipping/ receiving activities
