Details and duties for Warehouse Manager positions:
- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping of products.
- Create and implement efficient workflow processes to optimize productivity and minimize errors.
- Manage and motivate a team of warehouse personnel across two shifts, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation against system records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and efficient warehouse operations.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology to track inventory, shipments, and employee productivity.
- Continuously strive for process improvement and cost reduction through operational optimization and automation.
- Ability to work weekends as necessary
Requirements for Warehouse Manager position?
- High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and processes, including receiving, storage, and shipping.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lead and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Forklift certification is desirable.
