Job Description
Do you have maintenance experience? Sierra Employment is currently hiring Maintenance Technician positions in Mammoth Lakes, CA.
Details for Maintenance Technician position:
- $22-26 / Hour
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
- Fast Start Date
- Weekly Pay
Job Duties for Maintenance Technician:
- Respond promptly to guest requests to ensure safety, comfort, and satisfaction
- Perform general maintenance and complete assigned work orders across guest rooms and public areas
- Support team members with routine repairs and preventive maintenance tasks
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper use of all equipment in assigned areas
- Prioritize daily assignments, manage time effectively, and prepare for special projects
- Uphold high standards of safety, security, and property care for guests and associates
- Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Maintenance Technician:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of experience in building or facility maintenance
- Skilled in using hand and power tools for repairs and upkeep of equipment
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen, and carpentry systems
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic maintenance issues
- Familiar with safety standards and proper maintenance practices
- Team-oriented and personable with strong guest service focus
- Flexible schedule and dependable work ethic
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
