Key duties and details for Payroll Specialist:
- Initiate payroll processing, and perform quality assurance reviews
- Identify problem-prone processes to ensure optimal efficiency and error-free operations
- Salary: $50-$55k per year
- Direct-Hire
Qualifications for Payroll Specialist:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, or 5+ years of equivalent experience
- Knowledge of payroll principles, practices, regulations, and procedures
- Experience with payroll systems, iSolved - PayPro systems preferred
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal payroll tax regulations and legislation including writs of garnishment, child support, levies, and subpoenas
- Exceptional math and calculation skills, and attention to detail
- Advanced MS Excel and other MS programs
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods and perform repetitive hand movements
