Job Description

Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Deli / Produce Clerk | Entry Level positions in Bowling Green, KY.

Assist Produce Manager in the operation of the produce department, including but not limited to, ordering, merchandising, rotating product, inventorying merchandise and profitability.

Key duties and details for Deli / Produce Clerk | Entry Level:
  • Maintain produce case and keep rotated at all times
  • Responsible for overall appearance and eye appeal of sales floor
  • Assist in ordering and merchandising allowing for the shift in demand and seasonal availability
  • Assist Produce Manager in ordering all produce
  • Assist Produce Manager in keeping cooler dated, organized and properly rotated
  • Assist Produce Manager in calling in credits within the allowed time
  • Assist Produce Manager with the four week period end produce inventory
  • Assist Produce Manager with recording and maintaining accurate bookkeeping systems including but not limited to weekly and monthly produce purchases
  • Other job related tasks as needed

Qualifications for Deli / Produce Clerk | Entry Level:
  • No prior experience necessary
  • Ability to perform standing job
  • Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, reach and grasp for varying periods of time
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
