Details for Logistics Coordinator position:   

• $26-36 / Hour

Duties for Logistics Coordinator position:    

• Schedule and dispatch trucks, dump trailers, and drivers while coordinating pickups, deliveries, and material transfers 

• Monitor transportation schedules and adjust routes to improve efficiency 

• Communicate with drivers, vendors, and operations teams regarding loads, timing, and safety requirements 

• Track shipments, maintain dispatch records, and ensure accurate documentation 

• Support recycling operations involving scrap, metal, and industrial materials including shredder logistics 

• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards 

• Assist with inventory tracking, load planning, and operational reporting 

• Resolve transportation and scheduling issues quickly while implementing solutions to enhance productivity 

• Follow all policies and procedures in place  

• Completes any other related tasks as needed  

Requirements and Desired Skills for Logistics Coordinator position:   

• High school diploma or equivalent 

• Previous experience in logistics, dispatching, transportation coordination, or recycling operations preferred 

• Knowledge of dump trailers, trucking operations, and route scheduling 

• Experience in recycling, scrap metal, or waste management industries strongly preferred 

• Familiarity with shredders or heavy industrial processing equipment is a plus 

• Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage shifting priorities 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dispatch or logistics software 

• Additional logistics or transportation training is a plus
