Details for Head Operator | Machine Operator positions:
- Full-Time
- Temp-to-Hire
- $21/hr
- 3rd Shift
Can you see yourself in this Head Operator | Machine Operator position:
- Operation of production equipment to include loading materials, perform quality checks, trouble shooting machines
- Daily header machine and crane inspection
Daily Header Machine Inspection
Load Two ton coil and point wire end, feed wire through to wire draw machine to header machines and inspect wire
Perform Tooling changes- Quill, Cutter, Heading die, Finger changes
Perform tooling adjustments and run machines to make samples
Perform routine machine trouble shooting and preventative maintenance
Use Hand jack/Forklift to transport materials
Other duties as assigned
These skills make you a good candidate:
High school diploma or GED
Previous manufacturing experience
Ability to read and measure using gauges, following quality standards & work instructions
Possess an understanding of basic production processes & knowledge of basic machine operation
Proficiency in math
Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
Ability to follow instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Detail oriented
Ability to stand for duration of shift
Ability to lift up to 50 lb
Ability to squat, stoop, bend, kneel, twist and reach
