Job Description
Do you have accounting experience? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Accountant | Finance positions.
Details for Accountant | Finance position:
- Monday-Friday | 8:30am-4:30pm (deduction of ½ or 1 hour for lunch each day (candidate’s choice)
- Zero Fees - you’ll never be charged for any screening service
- Weekly Pay
Job duties for Accountant | Finance:
- Identify and prepare manual journal entries, and assist in formatting final Financial Statements in Excel
- Accurately record financial transactions and prepare bank deposits
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations
- Document various data/transactions into Financial System and/or excel spreadsheets
- Perform filtered data and reporting extracts needed for account reconciliations, management decision making, and required external reporting
- Record standard monthly journal entries into Financial System as needed
- Support monthly close procedures
- Gather and/or coordinate supporting documentation needed for deliverables
- Filing and/or otherwise organizing documents, desk, and cabinet archives
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and desired skills for Accountant | Finance:
- Associates or Bachelors in Accounting
- Previous experience in an accounting role
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience directly contributing to period end finance statement close process is preferred
- Strong knowledge and understanding of general ledger accounts
- Strong ability to multitask, understand analytics, and verbal/written communication skills
- Dress code: business attire (jeans appropriate on Fridays only)
- Interviews with Luttrell Staffing and Client
- Advanced User of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experienced User of Financial ERP system(s).
