Details for Accounts Payable Specialist | Payroll position:
- $20 / Hour
- Monday - Friday | 8am-5pm (1hr Lunch)
- Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
- Zero Fees - you’ll never be charged for any screening service
- 40 hours per week
- Skills testing will be done prior to placement
- Upon Hire with Client perks: Meal Discounts, Health & Dental Insurance, Vacation & Holiday pay
Key Duties for Accounts Payable Specialist | Payroll position:
- Responsible for all documentation of purchase orders
- Collecting and reconciling packing slips, invoices and receipts
- Processing payments and making sure all weekly A/P processes have been completed
- Resolving issues as needed
- Assist A/P manager with daily functions
- Match and prepare daily documents
- Handle communication and correspondence with agency programs, vendors and staff
- Maintain and order inventory for the fiscal department
- Assist payroll and other departments
- Sort and distribute incoming mail
- Other duties as needed
Special Skills & Knowledge Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous work experience in Accounts Payable
- Previous work experience in Sage MIP Fund Accounting is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel: Required)
- Ability to process detailed information with accuracy and confidentiality
- Ability to problem solve
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well alone or in a team environment
