Do you have CNC operating experience? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Advanced CNC Machinist positions in Knoxville, TN.

Details for Advanced CNC Machinist Position:  
  1. $25-28 / Hour  
  2. 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday-6:30am-5:00pm-OT Fridays   
2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday-5:00pm-3:30am-OT Fridays  
  1. Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire  
  2. Zero Fees - you’ll never be charged for any screening service

  6. 401k, profit sharing, and 2 weeks of PTO once hired directly by client  
 
Job Duties for Advanced CNC Machinist Position: 
  1. Set up and operate multi-axis CNC lathes and mills for complex, multi-operation, and tight-tolerance parts
  2. Perform advanced inspections, first-article verification, and quality checks to ensure accurate production
  3. Independently troubleshoot machine, tooling, setup, and quality issues
  4. Optimize feeds, speeds, tooling, and setup processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
  5. Manage difficult jobs, operate multiple machines as needed, and maintain consistent production flow
  6. Identify and resolve production bottlenecks while supporting overall shift performance
  7. Train and mentor CNC operators and assist shift leads and supervisors
  8. Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
  9. Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Advanced CNC Machinist Position:   
  1. High school diploma or GED required
  2. Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T requirements
  3. Proven ability to consistently machine parts within ±0.001-inch tolerances
  4. Experience operating Swiss-style, multi-axis, or multiple CNC machines
  5. Strong troubleshooting, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills
  6. Ability to train, mentor, and provide direction to CNC operators
  7. Clear communication skills with the ability to maintain accurate production and quality documentation
  8. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.  
  9. Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
