Key duties and details for Battery Technician:
- Tear down scrap battery and package for shipment
- Remove labels from batteries, re-boost the batteries, check voltage, and specific gravity of the batteries
- Adjust acid on discharge batteries
- 1st shift
- Pay rate: $20/hr
- Temp-to-Hire
Qualifications for Battery Technician:
- Basic math skills and ability to read a ruler
- Must be able to use basic hand tools and power tools
- Must be able to use multimeter
- Basic reading and computer skills
- Ability to operate crane and forklift
- Ability to lift 36-50 lbs
- Diploma/GED
