Luttrell Staffing Group is now hiring Entry Level CAD/CAM Technicians positions in Loudon, TN.

This role offers a unique opportunity to learn and apply skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM), and Additive Manufacturing (AM) technologies. Under the guidance of seasoned professionals, you will contribute to innovative projects that define the future of our industry.
Job duties Entry Level CAD/CAM Technicians:
- Learn to create and modify 2D and 3D CAD models using industry-leading software
- Assist in generating CAM toolpaths for CNC Equipment (Various MAZAK Machines) to drive precision manufacturing processes
- Gain hands-on experience in operating and maintaining cutting-edge 3D printer
- Assist in file preparation, setup, and monitoring of additive manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality outputs
- Collaborate on the development and prototyping of new products and components using additive manufacturing technologies
- Support testing and validation processes to meet performance standards
- Maintain meticulous records of CAD designs, CAM processes, and additive manufacturing activities
- Engage with a diverse team of engineers, designers, and machinists to achieve project objectives effectively
- Follow all safety protocols
- Other duties as needed
Requirements for Entry Level CAD/CAM Technicians:
- Excellent customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; pursuing or completed technical education in CAD/CAM, mechanical engineering, or related fields is advantageous
- Basic proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and familiarity with CAM principles
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand for an extended period
