Duties for CNC Machine Programmer position:
- Identify and locate various types of steel or specialty wire alloys
- Utilize standard and custom tooling to fabricate springs per drawing
- Under guidance of experienced supervisor
- Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure product quality
- Other duties as assigned
Can you see yourself in this CNC Machine Programmer position?
- 3+ years w/ CNC machine operation or machining - equivalent manufacturing environment acceptable
- Will train if no experience
- HS diploma or equivalent. Trade school education preferred in CNC machining, tool & die or metal forming. Math skills and mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, comparators, load cells
- Ability to read customer supplied blueprint and/or specification
- Forklift experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of OSHA regulatory compliance preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to climb, push, pull, squat, stoop, bend, kneel, twist and reach
