Job Description
Job Title: In-Home Caregiver –Independent Living Skills Support
Compensation: $24-$25 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Fri, Sat, Sun 2:00pm to 10:00pm OR Sat & Sun 6:00am to 2:00pm
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and skilled In-Home Caregiver to provide personalized support to individuals with complex care needs. The ideal candidate will bring experience, empathy, and a commitment to enhancing each client’s independence, safety, and quality of life.
Responsibilities
Deliver compassionate, person-centered care in the client’s home environment
Assist with safe transfers and mobility, including the use of assistive devices
Provide transportation to medical appointments, therapy sessions, errands, and social outings
Support with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
Monitor and report any changes in the client’s health or behavior to supervisors or medical professionals
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and activities
Qualifications
Proven experience providing in-home care, especially for individuals with complex needs
A compassionate and professional demeanor with a strong commitment to client dignity
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required)
Physical ability to assist with transfers and mobility support using proper body mechanics
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries
Preferred Skills
Experience working with medical equipment or adaptive devices
Current CPR/First Aid certification
