Job Description
Do you have experience in accounting and looking for a great position? Sierra Employment is currently hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk Per Diem position in Mammoth Lakes, CA.
Details for Accounts Payable Clerk Per Diem position:
· $22.68-27.49 / Hour (Based on Experience)
· Tuesday & Wednesday Day Shifts
· Weekly Pay
Job Duties for Accounts Payable Clerk Per Diem:
· Review, process, and maintain all Accounts Payable documentation
· Input and verify invoices, purchase orders, and related data in the system
· Reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and packing slips for accuracy in pricing and quantities
· Process and distribute checks, including manual checks, per established policies
· File invoices with check copies and organize separate vendor files as needed
· Maintain open purchase order copies and update vendor records
· Create, track, and code monthly A/R invoices and follow up on payments
· Obtain W-9 forms and issue 1099s for applicable vendors at year-end
· Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with hospital policies
· Provide excellent customer service with strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Accounts Payable Clerk Per Diem:
· Associate degree in Business preferred
· Two years of accounting experience with emphasis on Accounts Payable
· Proficient in Windows, Excel, and word processing software
· Accurate 10-key calculator skills and ability to type 40+ wpm preferred
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Highly organized and maintains a clean, efficient work environment
