Job Description

Details for Accounting Assistant position:
- $22-23 / Hour
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Job duties for Accounting Assistant:
- Greet visitors for meetings, job applications, or deliveries
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate contact
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable
- Support the accountant with payroll processing
- File and organize documents
- Enter data into company systems
- Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Accounting Assistant:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous accounts payable/receivable experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Excel and daily spreadsheet use
- Solid math and analytical skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
- General computer proficiency
- Ability to work independently and follow direction
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to sit for duration of shift
