Job Description

Do you have a Class B commercial license or looking to get one? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently Motor Equipment Operator positions in Bristol, VA.  
    
Details for Motor Equipment Operator position:  
  • $15.62/ Hour
  • Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
  • Zero Fees - you’ll never be charged for any screening service  
  • Fast Start Date  
  • Weekly Pay  
  • Additional benefits include holiday and vacation pay, and 401(k) plan eligibility upon full-time hire with the client  
 
Job duties for Motor Equipment Operator:  
  • Operate construction and grounds maintenance equipment including loaders, scrapers, compactors, dozers, and excavation machinery
  • Perform site clearing, earth moving, grading, loading, and spreading tasks at various city locations
  • Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety policies, and procedures strictly
  • Support city maintenance, construction, building, ground, and roadside projects as assigned
  • Work under supervision of job foreman or applicable supervisor
  • Communicate and coordinate with team to ensure task completion and site safety
  • Completes any other related tasks as needed
 
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Motor Equipment Operator:  
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Class B commercial license (or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment)
  • Ability to read and write, and follow oral /written instruction
  • Basic hand tool knowledge
  • Ability to stand for duration of shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist, crouch, and reach
