Job Description
Do you have manufacturing or construction experience? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Heavy Equipment Operator / Laborer MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL positions in Hopkinsville, KY.
Details for Heavy Equipment Operator / Laborer Position:
- $18-20 / Hour
- Full-Time | Long-Term Temp
- Zero Fees - you’ll never be charged for any screening service
- Fast Start Date
- Weekly Pay
- Travel Expenses Included – Hotel Accommodation Provided, with a $25 daily per diem for meals and incidental expenses when traveling
Job Duties for Heavy Equipment Operator / Laborer Position:
- Perform physically demanding railroad track maintenance tasks, requiring good physical fitness
- Tighten bolts, shovel rocks and dirt to maintain track integrity
- Use hand tools, rail saws, claw bars, and track wrenches effectively
- Inspect tracks for defects and report issues promptly
- Assist with track alignment and leveling as needed
- Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications for Heavy Equipment Operator / Laborer Position:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have construction or heavy machine operating experience
- Offensive tattoos are prohibited, and any tattoos on the arms must be concealed while at work
- Ability to work outdoors in hot/cold conditions, with heavy lifting involved
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
