Job Description
Luttrell Staffing Group is hiring Furnace Assistant Operator | Manufacturing positions in Greeneville, TN.

Job Duties for Furnace Assistant Operator | Manufacturing:
- Operate furnace to relieve operator during breaks
- Use forklift, jackhammer, and front-end loader
- Sweep and shovel material into hopper
- Perform general housekeeping tasks and report daily checklists
- Operate bagging machines and floor scales
- Stack filled bags onto pallets
- Load sand into kilns
- Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Job Requirements and Desired Skills for Furnace Assistant Operator | Manufacturing:
- Minimum 1 year of related work experience
- Wear required PPE (including steel-toe shoes, gloves, face shield, hearing protection, hard hat, etc)
- Operate heavy equipment safely
- Stand for full shift duration
- Frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs and team lift up to 100 lbs
- Climb stairs and ladders, work in confined spaces
- Stoop, squat, bend, kneel, twist, and reach as needed
- Work in non-climate-controlled environment
- Apply basic math skills
