Details for Construction Technician | Construction | 1st Shift positions:
- Full-Time
- Temp-to-Hire
- 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm but may vary, must be available to be on call once every 4-8 weeks
- 40 hours per week
- Local travel required
- $17-$18/hr
- Paid weekly, direct deposit available
Can you see yourself in this Construction Technician | Construction | 1st Shift position?
- Responsible for producing rough and finished carpentry
- Drywall, painting, flooring
- Roofing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC
- Compile and resolve punch list items
- Perform final walk through with customer
- Secure a signed Certificate of Completion and Certificate of Satisfaction from customer
- Attend pre-construction meetings
- Provide project updates
- Assist with managing sub contractors
- Pick up and deliver materials
- Assist in confirming budget
- Complete inspections
- Operation of power tools and other machinery
Job requirements for these positions:
- Related work experience preferred
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to be on call
- Ability to travel locally
- Knowledge of and ability to use a variety of hand tools and power equipment
- Hand dexterity
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
