Job Description
Do you have experience in sales? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Counter Sales Representative positions in Bristol, TN.
Details for Counter Sales Representative position:
- $16 / Hour
- Monday-Friday
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Job Duties for Counter Sales Representative:
- Assist customers promptly at the counter by answering questions, taking orders, and providing excellent service
- Maintain professionalism and treat all customers and associates with respect
- Perform data entry and retrieval tasks, including customer orders, branch transfers, and inventory information
- Follow up on orders, resolve issues, and respond to inquiries in a timely manner. Handle phone calls professionally, assist with quotes, and provide product information
- Stay updated on product knowledge and inventory, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and proper organization of materials
- Safely load and unload trucks, check in received materials, and maintain a clean and organized branch appearance
- Assist with inside sales calls and perform assigned purchasing duties as needed
- Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Counter Sales Representative:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Skilled in reading and understanding basic instructions and correspondence, with proficient business English, spelling, and punctuation
- Capable of proofreading documents, filing information accurately, writing basic correspondence, and presenting information effectively in one-on-one and small-group settings
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and proficiency in arithmetic operations with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Ability to regularly work in outside weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
