Pay & Details for Research and Development Tech:
- $25/hr
- Monday-Friday
- 1st 8:00am to 5:00pm
Job Duties for Research and Development Tech:
- Assist in Development and testing of Recipes
- Quality and Analytical Tests
- Maintain records of trials, formulations, and test data
- Troubleshoot Formulation and process issues
- Maintain Cleanliness and Organization
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams
Requirements for Research and Development Tech:
- Associate or bachelor’s in food science, Baking % Pastry Arts, Culinary Science, or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years’ experience in bakery, food R&D, or food manufacturing environment preferred
- Comfortable working with kitchen and lab equipment in a manufacturing setting.
- Good Communication, both written and verbal
- Basic Computer Skills
- Food Safety knowledge, HACCP, GMP
- Willingness to work odd hours and travel.
- Stand for long periods and lift up to 45 lbs.
- Working in variable temperatures
- Manual dexterity
