Job Description

Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Director of Financial Services positions in Wytheville, VA.
Details for Director of Financial Services position:
· $44 / Hour
· Full-Time | Short-Term Temporary (4-6 Week Assignment)
· Zero Fees - you’ll never be charged for any screening service

· Weekly Pay
Job Duties for Director of Financial Services:
· Oversee Agency accounting (payroll, AP, AR, rep payee, budgeting while conforming compliance with state and federal regulations
· Ensure timely vendor payments, listing maintenance, expense/revenue posting
· Manage rep payee program, adhering to Social Security requirements
· Supervise AR with timely posting, aging accounts, revenue categorization
· Prepare annual budget, performance contract, and related reports
· Develop and update fiscal policies, procedures, and forms
· Conduct periodic financial reviews: internal controls, compliance, efficiency
· Follow up on accounts
· Monitor special funds, prepare reports, and liaise with thirds parties and auditors
· Coordinate fiscal activities across departments, provide staff training
· Follow all policies and procedures in place
· Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Director of Financial Services:
· Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, CPA designation, and/or 3-5 years of financial management experience required
· Two years of supervisory experience managing a team required
· Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
· Familiarity with fiscal management concepts and regulations for governmental organizations
· Strong written and oral communication and effective organizational and time management skills
· Proficient in analyzing and interpreting financial data and regulations
· Skilled in budget forecasting and analysis with proficiency in spreadsheets and accounting software
· Ability to sit for duration of shift
