Details for Steward | Prep Cook position: 
- $20-21 / Hour 
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire 
- Fast Start Date 
- Weekly Pay 
 
Job Duties for Steward | Prep Cook: 
- Clean, scrape, and store dishes, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and trays per management direction
- Set up and maintain dishwashing station including assembly, water tanks, and heating elements
- Keep kitchen, equipment, floors, walls, storage areas, trash, and docks clean and organized
- Assist with food deliveries, storage, and basic prep tasks following chef specifications
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble dishwasher at shift end
- Post safety signs during wet floor cleaning and follow chemical handling procedures
- Report equipment, food, or area issues to Chef or Sous Chef
- Complete daily prep lists to support service readiness
- Completes any other related tasks as needed 
 
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Steward | Prep Cook: 
- High school diploma or equivalent 
- Previous cooking experience preferred 
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail 
- Positive, professional attitude when assisting guests or team members 
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30-50 lbs during the shift 
- Ability to stand for duration of shift 
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
