Job Description
Luttrell Staffing Group in Johnson City, TN is hiring an Electrical / Mechanical Technician position in Erwin, TN.
This position is composed of 3 general criterions: Electrical (instrumentation & controls, plant wiring and power distribution), Mechanical (trouble shooting and repair or production equipment and facilities, Work Environment (hours may change depending on order levels and special projects).

- Knowledge and understanding of industrial safety, PPE, electrical/mechanical Lock Out/Tag Out Arc-Flash Protection
- Install, maintain, modify and repair electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment
- Remain in compliance with basic electrical codes
- Complete work orders as assigned
- High school diploma or GED (Military or Trade School experience is a plus)
- Computer literate, Microsoft Office
- Must be able to occasionally work at heights, utilizing forklifts, scissor lifts, Ladder Handling Safety, etc.
- Knowledge basic electrical codes, manufacturing operations, and Air Compressors and Pneumatic Systems/components
- Knowledge of Electrical Gas Controls is a plus
- Ability to read P.&I.D. is a plus
- Ability to download PLC & Adjust Ladder Logic Programs (Allen-Bradley and Siemens)
- Understand motor controls
- Understand Factory Power Distribution
- Willing to work in extreme temperatures as needed
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, twist, kneel and reach
