Job Responsibilities for Electrical Technician:
- Troubleshoot and maintain electronic/electrical equipment
- Troubleshoot automation and instrumentation issues
- Define and perform maintenance tasks for electronic/electrical equipment
- Maintain safety standards and participate in improvement activities
- Evaluate new and replacement hardware
- Document work history and prepare maintenance reports
- Assist in training lower classification maintenance personnel
- Manage equipment and supplies inventory
- 5+ years of experience preferred
- Journeyman Electrician background preferred
- Flexible and adaptable to changing business conditions and technologies
- Demonstrates leadership by example
- Strong organizational, planning, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Collaborates effectively with others without line authority
- Superior problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficient in using precision measuring and testing instruments
- Independently tests equipment after repair or service
- Able to oversee and assist contractors as needed
