  • $31 / Hour
  • Monday-Friday | 2:30pm-10:30pm

Job duties for Maintenance Technician (Electronics):
  • Repair, assemble, install, build, relocate, wire, clean, adjust machines, and equipment used in the manufacturing plant, office, out buildings, yard; handling of hazardous waste.
  • Inspect, trouble-shoot, disassemble, repair, or adjust machines, and equipment used in plant and office building; replace or repair defective or worn-out parts as necessary
  • Assemble and/or install machines/equipment new or used as required; this involves the assembling of a variety of machines and equipment requiring operations such as filing, scraping, stoning, lapping, and grinding; the fitting of conduit pipe and tubing for wiring of power and control circuits; trouble shooting PLC controls on NC machines including trouble shooting and repair of circuits and circuit boards, the machining of a variety of parts using machines and listed under IV
  • Make minor plumbing installations, and repairs such as repairing valves, lines, cutting, and threading pipe
  • Perform all duties without assistance exception on unusual or difficult jobs
  • Use of: lift trucks, power tools; saws, drills, pipe threader, CNC Machinery, precision measuring instruments such as meters, oscilloscope, precision ampmeters, meggers, watt meter, and electrical power supplies, gages to determine and maintain dimensions and tolerances as required
  • Operate lathes, grinders, drill presses, milling machines, welders, torches, and other equipment as necessary to repair/maintain equipment
  • Consistently perform duties in a satisfactory manner and so that no avoidable delays occur in operations or services depending upon the completion of duties
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on plant, office, and yard equipment, structures, and facilities such as roofs, floors, fences, doors, lighting, and electrical service
  • Layout, construct, erect, wire, and install such equipment a conveyor, ducts, rack, partitions, scaffolding, buss plugs, disconnect switches
  • Replace hoist cables, replace jib cranes, rewire machines, and equipment as becomes necessary
  • Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications for Maintenance Technician (Electronics):
  • Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology
  • Three to five years’ experience in a machining environment preferred
  • Requires the use of complicated mathematics, drawings, prints, sketches, and charts, schematics, and handbook formulas
  • Requires knowledge of electrical basics, PLC Training, machining methods, precision measuring instruments and controllers
  • Electrical Certification Level 1 required (Level 2-4 preferred)
  • Ability to stand for duration of shift
  • Ability to work in confined spaces
  • Ability to use tools and equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
  • Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist, crawl and reach
