Do you have an understanding of basic engineering theories and principles? Utility Staffing Group is currently hiring Engineer in Grand Rapids, MI.


Key duties and details for Engineer:
  • Engineering/technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis, and resolution of problems
  • Effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling, and monitoring of work activities
  • Thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations, and sketches
  • Salary: $49,000/year
  • Temp-to-Hire
  • Benefits (Medical, Holiday Pay, Vacation Pay)
  • Paid weekly


Qualifications for Engineer:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an EAC/ABET accredited Engineering Program or an approved evaluation of non-ABET credentials by NCEES OR graduation from a Master’s or Doctoral Program in Engineering from an institution with EAC/ABET accredited
  •  Understanding of basic engineering theories and principles
  • Understanding of basic practices of researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, making sound recommendations, and preparing and presenting recommendations
  • Understanding of basic electricity and power quality 
  • Knowledge of Distribution construction standards and methods
