Job Description
Do you have experience working with CAD and looking for a new position? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Part-Time Engineering Drafter positions in Floyd, VA.
Details for Part-Time Engineering Drafter Position:
- $25 / Hour
- Part-Time (20 Hours / Week)
- Temp-to-Hire

Job Duties for Part-Time Engineering Drafter Position:
- Create and revise 2D and 3D technical drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop accurate, detailed plans
- Ensure drawings adhere to company standards, regulations, and quality requirements
- Maintain organized documentation, archives, and drawing records
- Assist in preparing layouts, assembly instructions, and bill of materials (BOMs)
- Perform quality checks on drawings and recommend improvements
- Follow all policies and procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Part-Time Engineering Drafter Position:
- Engineering degree or equivalent
- Proven experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Associate degree or certification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field
- 1+ years of relevant drafting experience
- Detail-oriented with strong understanding of drafting standards and practices
- Skilled in interpreting engineering designs and collaborating with technical teams
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with flexibility and precision
