Details for the Drafter position:
- $19.00-$24.00/hour

Job duties for the CAD Technician Drafter role:
- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings of transformer components, enclosures, and assemblies using CAD software (such as AutoCAD or Solid Edge) based on engineering specifications and customer requirements
- Prepare and update bills of materials (BOMs) associated with drawings to support production, purchasing, and quoting activities.
- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, manufacturability, and compliance with company standards, applicable codes, and safety requirements.
- Revise and maintain existing drawings and documentation to reflect engineering changes, field feedback, and product improvements.
- Work closely with engineers, production, and quality teams to resolve drawing-related questions and support smooth handoff from design to manufacturing.
- Generate shop drawings and assembly details used by fabricators, machinists, and assemblers on the plant floor.
- Manage and organize electronic drawing files, templates, and project documentation, ensuring proper version control and traceability.
- Assist with estimating materials, dimensions, and design options for new orders or custom projects as needed.
- Follow all company drafting standards, work instructions, and safety policies while meeting schedule and quality expectations
Qualifications and Desired Skills for the CAD Technician Drafter position:
- High school diploma with 3-5 years of prior experience preferred
- May require limited outside travel
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
