Can you read a tape measure and looking for a manufacturing position? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Fabrication Welding Trainee positions in Bristol, VA.
Details for Fabrication Welding Trainee Position:
· $16.50 / Hour
· Shifts available:
o Day (6a–4:30p, Mon–Fri)
o Evening (5:30p–5a, Mon–Thu, Fri 5:30p–2a)
· Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Job Duties for Fabrication Welding Trainee Position:
· Fabricate, weld, cut, and assemble metal parts using hand and power tools
· Inspect and perform quality control to ensure parts meet specifications
· Prepare, clean, sand, mask, and paint metal components per job requirements
· Operate painting and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
· Follow color matching and application specifications for finishes
· Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment per company standards
· Support lean manufacturing goals by improving efficiency and reducing waste
· Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines
· Adhere to all safety policies and maintain a safe work environment
· Perform additional tasks and assist across departments as assigned
· Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
· Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications for Fabrication Welding Trainee Position:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Must be able to pass a tape measure test and basic math computations
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during 8–12 hour shifts
· Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and move throughout the facility
· Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
· Flexibility to work varied shifts including overtime
· Focus on quality, productivity, and safety
