Job Duties for Facility Maintenance Technician position:
- Support the Maintenance Department and assist other departments as needed
- Perform daily maintenance of equipment, facilities, and grounds
- Safely operate, maintain, and learn to use material-handling equipment
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment or facility issues
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Use Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel as needed
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
- Complete other related duties as assigned
Requirements and Desired Skills for Facility Maintenance Technician position:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, squat, kneel, twist, crawl, and bend for extended periods throughout the shift
- Safely operate, inspect, and perform routine maintenance on equipment and facilities
- Learn and operate a variety of material-handling equipment
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Use Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel as needed
- Support other departments and work areas as needed
- Apply basic mechanical skills, including changing tires and lights; heavy-duty trucking, HVAC, and electrical knowledge preferred
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly
- Must be able to work in severe weather conditions, both heat and cold
- Must be able to climb ladders and work in high places
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings
