Job duties and details for Finance Specialist:

• Track program expenditures and review monthly financial statements
• Investigate and resolve disparities, and submits corrections and coding errors to finance department
• Assist in the compilation of the fiscal budgets
• Assist Program Director/Staff in preparing purchase requisitions for items requiring purchase order approval
• Distribute purchase orders and process provider payments and garnishments
• Compose fiscal correspondences and assist in the preparation of the budget narratives, proposals and grant submissions
• Cross train with other department staff and other duties as assigned
• Monday-Friday, daytime schedule
• Pay rate $20/hr
• Temp-to-Hire position
• Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision and Term-Life Insurance Benefits
• Paid weekly, direct deposit available

Qualifications for Finance Specialist:

• Associate of Science or Associate of Arts Degree with previous work experience
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Ability to type 45wpm and accurate 10 key by touch
• Ability to prepare and present concise, accurate and effective oral and written reports
• Must have basic bookkeeping and math skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
