Job Description
Luttrell Staffing is looking for a Floor Maintenance position in Blacksburg, VA.
The purpose of this position is to implement facility housekeeping floor maintenance procedures in an efficient, cost-effective manner to safely meet residents’ needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
Pay 16.00Hours 10am-6:30 pm M-F work every other weekend
Qualifications: Minimum education of completing the 10th grade, with preference given for high school diploma or GED Entry level position, with preference given to work experience in a related work environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:Work is moderate.A housekeeper/floor maintenance worker must be capable of lifting a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.Ability to walk and stand for the majority of each shift is essential.Run a floor bufferWork is indoors

- participate in the monitoring system for the housekeeping department
- notify supervisor when supplies are needed
- notify supervisor when equipment in need of repair
- notify supervisor when areas of the facility are in need of repair
