Job Description
Do you have cooking experience and want a position that pays weekly? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Line Cook (Full-Time/Part-Time) positions in Lenoir City, TN.
Details for Line Cook (Full-Time/Part-Time) Position:
• $18-20 / Hour (BOE)
• Full-Time - Wednesday-10a-6p, Thursday-Saturday-3pm-9:30pm and Sunday-10a-6p
• Part-Time - Thursday-Saturday, 4pm-9:30pm
• Full-Time OR Part-Time
• Temp-to-Hire
• Zero Fees - you’ll never be charged for any screening service
• Fast Start Date
• Weekly Pay
• Insurance Options for Full-Time
Job Duties for Line Cook (Full-Time/Part-Time) Position:
• Set up, break down, clean, and maintain sanitary workstations, equipment, and tools
• Prepare, cook, portion, and present food to recipe, quality, and safety standards, including meat and poultry preparation
• Manage food storage, labeling, rotation, temperature checks, and inventory; receive and organize deliveries
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment and safely handle cleaning chemicals
• Support menu planning, provide feedback, and follow daily operational checklists
• Maintain professionalism, hygiene, and safety compliance; report issues and attend required trainings
• Follow all policies and procedures in place
• Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications for Line Cook (Full-Time/Part-Time) Position:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year food service experience; culinary certification preferred
• Serve Safe Certification (or obtain within 30 days); high school diploma preferred
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, safety, and kitchen operations; ability to follow procedures and regulations
• Effective communicator, team player, adaptable, and reliable with flexible schedule (including evenings, weekends, holidays)
• Physically able to stand, move continuously, bend, lift up to 55 lbs, and work in varied indoor/outdoor conditions
• Ability to stand for duration of shift
• Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
