Details for Food Service Worker | Hospitality position:
Salary Range: $20.63–$29.39/hr (starting wage based on qualifications: $20.63–$25.01)
Full-Time | On-Call Required
Varied Shifts (including weekends and holidays)

Job Duties for Food Service Worker | Hospitality:
Prepare and serve meals for patients, staff, and guests
Meet specialized dietary needs and follow patient menu requests
Ensure meal trays are set up accurately and attractively, and meals are served on time
Complete regular cleaning duties using proper sanitation techniques (per regulatory guidelines)
Demonstrate knowledge of basic food groups and therapeutic diets
Responsible for ware-washing and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
Accurately collect and account for money for meals purchased
Stock and monitor satellite food storage areas
Display excellent customer service skills with the public and all hospital departments
Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Food Service Worker | Hospitality:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
One year of experience in the Food Service industry preferred
Basic knowledge of therapeutic diets and food preparation preferred
California Food Safety Handlers Card required
Ability to work on an on-call, per diem basis
High level of cleanliness and detail orientation
Strong communicator and excellent customer service skills
