Job Description

Job Duties:· Responsible for monitoring production processes; including operating manufacturing equipment and maintaining compliance with high standards for safety and quality· Comply with all safety policies and procedures and demonstrate safe behaviors at all times. Understand and comply with quality systems and policies (Quality Data System (QDS), Safe Quality Food (SQF), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP))· Actively engaged in learning machine operations and apply learnings to perform work to standard· Complete changeovers and cleans, including line clearance and pre-checks, following standard work· Perform documentation and verification activities in all applicable systems to ensure timely release· Escalate line issues and opportunities, including initiation of Root Cause Corrective Action activities· Remain at line during maintenance calls to provide information, support, and use the event as a learning opportunity
Can you see yourself in this Forklift position?· Steel toed shoes required· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs· Ability to stand for duration of shift· Ability to push, pull, squat, stoop, bend, kneel, twist and reach
The Fork Lift Operator Inspects product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.
Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.
Move levers or controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams with swivel-hooks, hoists, or elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, or stack material.
Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes and secure material or products for transport to designated areas.
Will be required to drive Fork Lift and Ride-On Electric Pallet Jack (Double Walkie).
