 Job details for Forklift Operator: 

• $17.25 / Hour  

• 10 Hour Shift 

• Temp-to-Hire 

• Benefits (Medical, Holiday Pay, Vacation Pay) 

• Paid weekly, direct deposit available 

 
Job Duties for Forklift Operator: 

• Transport pallets of salt product from packaging lines to warehouse 

• Store and organize raw materials and finished products as directed 

• Load, move, and receive materials, equipment, and product in shipping and warehouse areas 

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following plant and safety guidelines 

• Perform pre-shift and routine inspections on mobile equipment 

• Wrap, restack, and prepare packaged product as needed 

• Conduct routine and preventative maintenance as assigned 

• Operate and assist with mobile and packaging equipment 

• Maintain plant records, logbooks, checklists, and inspection sheets 

• Monitor and maintain product quality

Qualifications for Forklift Operator: 

• 3 Months or related training or experience 

• Ability to understand instructions and diagrams 

• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide) 

• Close vision, distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception 

• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs 

• Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist, crawl, and reach
