Do you have forklift experience? Luttrell Staffing Group in Marion is hiring Forklift Operator positions in Saltville, VA.
Job details for Forklift Operator:
· $17.25 / Hour
· 10 Hour Shift
· Temp-to-Hire
· Benefits (Medical, Holiday Pay, Vacation Pay)
· Paid weekly, direct deposit available
Job Duties for Forklift Operator:
· Transport pallets of salt product from packaging lines to warehouse
· Store and organize raw materials and finished products as directed
· Load, move, and receive materials, equipment, and product in shipping and warehouse areas
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following plant and safety guidelines
· Perform pre-shift and routine inspections on mobile equipment
· Wrap, restack, and prepare packaged product as needed
· Conduct routine and preventative maintenance as assigned
· Operate and assist with mobile and packaging equipment
· Maintain plant records, logbooks, checklists, and inspection sheets
· Monitor and maintain product quality
Qualifications for Forklift Operator:
· 3 Months or related training or experience
· Ability to understand instructions and diagrams
· Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
· Close vision, distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception
· Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
· Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist, crawl, and reach
