Details for Furnace Operator position:
- Full-Time
- Temp-to-Hire
- $19/hour
- 3pm-11:15pm
Job Duties:
- Operate continuous Heat Treat furnaces
- Start up and shut down machines
- Operate, monitor and adjust machines
- Supply components to hoppers
- Inspect components and part for defects
- Measure components and parts with precision dial indicators or other instruments
- Troubleshoot machines
- Record data
- Perform preventative maintenance on machines
- Other duties as assigned
Can you see yourself in this Furnace Operator position?
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year previous related work experience
- Competent in reading and writing English
- Proficient in basic arithmetic
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Hand dexterity
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to squat, stoop, bend, kneel, twist and reach
