Are you looking for an excellent weekend part-time position that pays well? Luttrell Staffing Group is hiring Maintenance Mechanic | Part-Time positions in Telford, TN.
Details for Maintenance Mechanic | Part-Time Position:
- $40 / Hour
- Saturday and Sunday, 7:00am to 7:00pm
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two 15-minute paid breaks
- Part-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Job Duties for Maintenance Mechanic | Part-Time:
- Repair and maintain machinery and equipment, especially customized assembly machines for Motor Production Lines, performing basic to advanced machine repairs and preventative maintenance
- Locate sources of problems by observing and listening to mechanical devices in operation and using precision measuring and testing instruments
- Fabricate custom repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment, and replace worn or damaged components such as hoses, wiring, belts, switches, and fuses
- Maintain equipment, parts, supplies, and inventories by checking stock levels, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt
- Ensure proper operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance, following diagrams, manuals, and engineering specifications, and troubleshooting malfunctions
- Receive verbal instructions from the supervisor and carry out tasks with minimal oversight, while assessing and prioritizing maintenance requests and daily work assignments to address critical issues promptly
- Demonstrate sound judgment and problem‑solving skills working independently under time constraints, and lift or move up to 50 pounds and climb up to 50 feet when required
- Other duties as needed
Job Requirements and Desired Skills for Maintenance Mechanic | Part-Time:
- Technical School Degree (2 years) in Industrial Technology with a concentration and knowledge of electrical circuits, electronic device basics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLC programming
- Minimum three to five years related machine repair and maintenance experience
- Ability to read and interpret instructions
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Knowledge of and ability to use a variety of hand and measuring tools and devices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to climb and work at heights of 50 ft.
- Ability to walk or stand for duration of shift
- Ability to bend stoop, squat, kneel, twist and reach
