Job Description
Do you have previous production experience and comfortable working in a cold environment? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Food Packaging Handler positions in Grand Prairie, TX.
Details for Food Packaging Handler Position:
- $14 / Hour
- 2nd Shift
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Job Duties for Food Packaging Handler Position:
- Pack finished bags into boxes and containers according to customer specs
- Keep pace with packaging machines and production line
- Lift bags up to 35 lbs and assemble corrugated boxes as needed
- Operate tape and case sealing machines and apply correct codes
- Inspect boxes, labels, codes, weights, and packaging quality
- Replenish packaging materials and maintain supply levels
- Work in a cool environment around 32–36°F
- Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Food Packaging Handler Position:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Able to stand for long periods on cement or uneven trailer floors
- Comfortable working in a wet, cold, and noisy environment around 36°F
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Capable of frequent bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, twisting, climbing, and reaching
- Attention to detail and basic math skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced setting
- Perform repetitive motions such as pushing, pulling, lifting, and bending throughout the shift
