Job Description
Do you have previous machine operator experience and looking for a fresh start? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Packaging Machine Operator positions in Grand Prairie, TX.
Details for Packaging Machine Operator position:
- $17.50 / Hour
- 2nd Shift
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Job Duties for Packaging Machine Operator:
- Operate assigned packaging equipment to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards
- Inspect codes, dates, leaks, oxygen levels, and seals for proper equipment function
- Efficiently run all packaging machines and support on-the-floor training
- Collaborate with packaging technicians on new product testing
- Routinely seek input and implement process improvements
- Assist other PMOs with their lines and make process enhancements
- Set up and achieve 100% startup of packaging machines independently
- Ensure production of quality products and communicate/direct packers
- Complete all required documentation and perform Clean, Inspect, Lubricate routines
- Participate in one-on-one reviews and conduct mechanical troubleshooting
- Pass machine operator and safety training per Continuous Skills Development Program
- Work safely, follow all safety rules and policies, and complete additional tasks as needed
Qualifications for Packaging Machine Operator:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in cold and wet environments (33-35 degrees Fahrenheit)
- Must be able to use or learn to use equipment and tools provided to perform job duties
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist, climb stairs, and perform repetitive movements with hands, arms, and legs
