Job Description
Do you have warehouse or manufacturing experience? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring General Laborer | Manufacturing positions in Maryville, TN.
Details for General Laborer | Manufacturing Position:
- $18-20 / Hour
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire (90-day introductory)

Job Duties for General Laborer | Manufacturing Position:
- Support daily steel fabrication and shop operations
- Learn and operate equipment such as shears, benders, forklifts, and overhead cranes
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving steel materials and products
- Perform secondary operations including drilling, grinding, chipping, and deburring
- Clean and maintain machines, tools, work areas, and warehouse spaces
- Prepare, package, and document materials for shipping and distribution
- Help with inventory counts, material organization, and supply movement
- Read and follow work orders or supervisor instructions to complete tasks
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals
- Follow all safety procedures and participate in training and meetings
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for General Laborer | Manufacturing Position:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Wear required PPE and follow safety protocols
- Ability to read and follow instructions and safety guidelines
- Physical stamina for strenuous tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, strong work ethic, and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing demands
- Forklift certification preferred; training may be provided
- Previous manufacturing or fabrication experience a plus
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 70 lbs with assistance
Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist, and reach
