Job Duties for Human Resource Generalist Position:
- Support HR functions, programs, and daily operations
- Review and uphold company policies and procedures
- Foster an inviting, collaborative team environment and live our values
- Create employee communications and respond to HR-related inquiries
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and paper files
- Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of reports
- Verify, process, and submit employee and department documentation
- Generate and submit HRIS reports for data integrity and compliance
- Assist with recruitment, sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
- Support job fairs, university partnerships, and outreach efforts
- Collaborate with other HR centers of excellence and departments
- Coordinate local employee celebrations, new hire orientation, and vendor communications
- Assist with legal, subpoena, and ad-hoc HR requests
- Support site, regional, and global HR initiatives and employer of choice activities
- Follow all policies and procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Human Resource Generalist Position:
- BS/BA in Business Management, Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related field
- 3 - 5 years human resource experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to identify process improvements and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Understand cross-functional impact and manage data collection and organization to meet deadlines
