Job Description
Do you have heavy equipment experience and are you looking for a position with a great company? Luttrell Staffing is currently hiring Heavy Equipment Operator positions in Bardstown, KY.
Details for Heavy Equipment Operator Position:
- $20-$25 / Hour
- Weekly schedule – M-Th 5:30am-4:00pm
- Occasional Overtime on Fridays and Saturdays
- Full-Time | Direct-Hire
- Zero Fees - you’ll never be charged for any screening service

Job Duties for Heavy Equipment Operator Position:
- Operate heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, bulldozers, and excavators in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Move raw materials, load trucks, and assist with stockpiling and site preparation
- Follow all company safety policies and MSHA regulations
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate workflow
- Identify and report equipment issues or safety hazards promptly
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
Qualifications and Desired Skills for Heavy Equipment Operator Position:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience operating loader, dozers, and excavators (quarry or similar environment preferred)
- Ability to work in fast-paced, physically demanding outdoor environment
- Knowledge of welding safety practices and proper PPE use
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
